At a packed AGM at the start of December the following officials were elected for the 2010 season:

• President: A.O. Laycock, Esq
• Chairman: Richard Wilson
• Vice-Chairman: Richard Cookson
• Honorary Secretary: Mrs Janet Wardell
• Honorary Treasurer: Dave Noble
• Auditor: Chris Lees
• 1st XI Captain: Simon James,  Vice-Captain: Dave Uphill
• 2nd XI Captain: James Tidmarsh, Vice-Captains: Sam Laycock, Shaun Whiteside
• Sunday XI Captain: Richard Wardell, Vice-Captain: Calum Bunce
• Committee: Ex-officio members plus: Matt Roberts, Jack Dobson, John Lyon, Dave Moulding and Neil Withington

Club Accreditation for Wrea Green                                                               

Wrea Green Cricket Club now has ECB Clubmark Accreditation which has been achieved through the hard work put in by Roger Harbourne and his colleagues on the Junior Committee. This is a great achievement and shows that the club is progressing, even if results at senior level in 2008 seem to suggest otherwise.

"It's great news," Roger told the Club Website. "Now we have to make sure that we build on the work that has already been done to take the club to the next level."
